Design
DESIGN
All your design needs are taken care of by our award-winning team at Lifestyle Home designs. We listen to you and you can be sure that we will consider YOUR needs, YOUR budget, YOUR home and YOUR dreams.
Lifestyle Home Designs has a comprehensive understanding of planning rules for your local area, as we have been providing Architectural design and drawings for all types and sizes of residential projects for over 20yrs.
The design phase is the 1st step in your journey and can be broken down into concept/schematic design and then design development.
Throughout the design process we look to incorporate good design principles into every project we work on We usually have 3D Perspective views of your house at completion of design phases.
Planning
PLANNING
Following the design phase, we can get into the detailed planning. This is where we progress the plans for both council / certifier approval and for building purposes.
We work together with you to select materials including interior & exterior finishes and products such as windows. doors, fixtures and materials.
When preparing your project documentation, we focus on providing as much detail as possible for both council and the builders ensuring the detailed plans and detailed specifications give everyone the information they need for the project.
We find this makes the council / certifier approval process faster and when building it significantly reduces variations and it saves a lot of time and money.
Consultant Coordination
CONSULTANT CO-ORDINATION
To lodge plans to council or a certifier for approval, you are likely to need the services of several consultants or professionals. Having been in the game for over 20yrs we have a selection of Surveyors, Engineers, Geotech, Bushfire, Heritage and other consultants that may be required for your project. We have worked with these consultants on many projects. We will brief the consultants for you to ensure they deliver both practical and clever solutions for your project. Our partner Consultants are experienced and specialise in both residential and commercial work.
Lifestyle Home Designs can work with and manage some or all of the other consultants that are required for your project ensuring that every aspect of your project is considered thoughtfully and practically to get the best solution for the job.
Council Approval

Lifestyle is backed by over 20 years of experience dealing with local councils preparing both Development applications and Complying development plans.
We can help ensure your project is in line with Building Planning and Certification requirements.
Our team knows your local area, regulations, and local building codes which means we can prepare exactly what you need for your local council / certifier.
Building
BUILDING
Once we have assisted you with your design, planning and approval process, it’s time to get your project built. Lifestyle has vetted several quality builders who are waiting to quote on your job. Several builders that we work with specifically ask us to prepare plans for their clients as they know they will get what they need to complete the project on time and in budget.
We are also available throughout the build process, answering any questions that may arise from either yourself or the builder.
